In a world where e-commerce is more and more popular and powerful, making the entire fulfilment process more efficient directly impacts any online store. And Frisbo needed a young, fun approach in order to attract a new generation of e-entrepreneurs.
The
Our mission started by creating the main character, the main character of our story. We chose T-Rex for its known lack of dexterity (or should we say rexterity?!), due to its shorthands that makes it harder for him to handle an e-shop, nicely pack each order and then ship it to customers. And that is precisely why T-Rex was the best choice, not only because of its (lack of) skills,
but because it is the fun and young approach that the brand needed. In order to illustrate that Frisbo’s services are dedicated to everyone and to different types of e-stores owners, regardless of location, we completed the story with other animals, specific to various environments: from hippo to turtle and even a unicorn as they are all in need of an efficient e-fulfillment.
The
We created the illustrated elements of the video animation, starting with the T-Rex and its everyday challenges, as an online store owner. But he wasn’t the only one who could use Frisbo’s services in order to make his business more profitable, so each of the other animals we impersonated showed different aspects of owners’ every day life.
We chose this cartoon style to illustrate the story, not only because it would have hard to find a real T-Rex and use as a character in a promotional explainer video, but because of the fun approach that the brand was seeking. Targeting a young, restless, and open-minded audience, an animation video would get their attention very fast, making it easier to remember Frisbo’s benefits as an e-fulfiller.
The
A fun, animated, explainer video has the advantage of bringing together different elements in order to explain a concept in a simple and understandable way. Instead of just choosing text or audio, we used both, which is proven to increase message retention, especially when you ad the fun part on top. And, to be fully honest, we had a great time “playing” with T-rex.
