A world where fashion is ethical and sustainable, for the benefit of our planet, environment, and humankind. ETISHE is born out of an essential need that always drives folks towards creation: the need for something that one desires but does not exist or is hard to acquire. The founders aim to be an example to follow in the fashion industry, showing that you can stay fashionable and also be sustainable.

We aim to be a progressive sustainable fashion brand that doesn’t compromise on its core values, aims to make beautiful design-driven clothing that is timeless, and creates a positive impact on the fashion industry which is very much needed.

Our

Mission

In the discovery phase, we learned a lot about the client’s vision and the main idea behind starting a sustainable fashion brand. Starting with the brand strategy, we helped develop the values of the brand:

Sustainability – using only natural, recycled, eco-friendly, and ethically sourced fabrics, Honesty – fully transparent about who we work with and how, Fairness – paying honest living wages to workers, regardless of race, gender or religion.

The next step was to find a way to describe with one sentence what was the brand about so people who care about the same problems can relate. Human approach with minimal impact, without any harm to the environment. – this is the promise of the brand that we managed to discover together with the client.

The

Identity

Finding the perfect name was crucial. We spent days, and weeks finding the name that could represent the vision is appropriate and memorable. One of the names we came up with and later proposed to the client was an ETISHE a combination of the words ethical – fashion, and the Italian word etiche. The visual identity had to be minimal, recognizable, and appropriate for the fashion industry. Since most of the time the logo will be visibly printed, embroidered on the products in small sizes, we created a logo system that is versatile and consistent has different versions for every scenario.

For the typography, we have selected a combination of a modern, elegant serif for titles, headings, and small important block of texts, in combination with a supporting light sans-serif typeface for a large amount of text. For the color palette, we chose to use earth, natural tones, this way enhancing the message of sustainability even more. From the identity system to the packaging and labels, and through the website ETISHE has a strong identity and messaging, ready to achieve real sustainability, that supports the environment and human lives, sustainable and ethical fashion must be affordable, practical, and desirable.

The

WEBDESIGN

The final step of the project was to create a website that is in line with the ethos and visuals of the brand. The imagery and content were as important as the products themselves to communicate the vision of the brand. Keeping the user experience and mobile-first in focus, we designed and developed a memorable experience that represents who, and why is ETISHE for.

The

Result

The message is clear: Sustainable, transparent fashion, with minimal impact on the environment. We think that the people behind the brand are on a great mission, and in the years to follow they will not just be successful, but also an inspiration for the fashion industry, and achieve real sustainability, that supports the environment and human lives, and keep the ethical fashion affordable, practical and desirable. I guess the clients’ feedback tells everything.
